I do dress them alike. If the outfits are not identical then they are at tleast the same ones in different colors, that way one won't be

Hello..

In the wild and wonderful world of multiples..everyone around us,family, friends, complete strangers have comments and advice for us. I thought that maybe we
could share some that worked or maybe backfired with each other. For all of us, who have survived the 1st year and more, may inspire or support a newbie.

My first thought, is to expect it to be tough but remember to enjoy the little things. It is so easy to feel overwhelmed. You may be wrapped up thinking
about the next feeding, what laundry you can get done,a phone call to make, etc...you may miss that content look on their faces when they are finally sleeping.
Remember to give youself time to enjoy them at each stage. They grow up too fast. I wish that I did this more.

Take pictures each month. Take one of them together and one of each of them. ( even if they sit on your memory card for a while - at least you have them.). It
is wild to see what a difference a month makes.

Hello Everyone,

I have not been around for a while. I was a "regular" on the "TTC over 30" group for a long time. Those wondeful ladies helped me so
much and will always be in my thoughts. To re-introduce myself. I am a SAHM to Caroline and David, 3 year ( almost 4 year old) twins. They were conceived via
IUI. I love being home with them. I also remember the stresses and worries of having newborn and toddler multiples. They started preschool this fall.
They love school and we are all getting into the new routine. We live in NE Pa. The fall is here and I am loving it.

I look forward to "chatting" and getting to know all of you. Maybe we can get this board moving a little more. I know we don't have a great
deal of time with busy houses..but the support here is great.

Take Care,
Laura

I had my 6 week u/s and the tech found 2 sacs both measuring about the same size. However, only one sac had a little bean with a strong heartbeat and on
target. The other sac appeared black with no yolk or fetal pole. The tech did not seem optimistic and thinks it is a blighted ovum. I did get a call from the
nurse asking me to repeat the u/s in a week without explanation so I am assuming they want to see if the sac #2 has either developed or has been absorbed. I am
ecstatic about my little bean but can't help but hope that the other sac will develop. I am very nervous and thought that some of you may have some
positive stories to share. I have read that it is possible it may just be measuring behind and can catch up. What do you think? Was the u/s too early?

I have newborns twins (4 weeks yesterday) and I am having a hard time when they both want to eat at the same time. It is fine on the weekends when my husband
is home but during the weekdays I can't feed them both at the same time. I feel bad when I am feeding one and the other one is sitting there crying. I
have tried putting them both in their bouncy seats and have one bottle in one hand and one bottle in the other hand which is OK for the feeding part but when I
have to burp them, one is crying while I am burping the other one or I have one of them spitting up what they just ate b/c I couldn't get to them fast
enough to burp.

Does anyone have any suggestions or is what I am going through normal?

Thanks,

Sorry ladies, I have a million questions! Thank you for taking the time to answer them

I've read that 37 weeks is considered full term for twins. How long did everyone go for? Who had a c-section and who had a vaginal birth? Does that depend
on the babies positions? In an ideal world, I would love to go as long as I can to full term and avoid a c-section (but with lots of drugs for a v-birth
). Just wondering how it went for you all?

BTW, for the past week, since we've found out we are having twins, I have been calling hospitals and fighting with my insurance. I was told I need to
deliver in a hospital that has a level III NICU. We have two nearby, one of which is Cedars Sinai, but neither take HMO insurance. I think now we have to go
through DH's company and get a PPO that we will have to pay through the nose for. Did everyone...

I don't know if this board gets a lot of traffic from you twin +more mommies, but I needed to come here and talk about some things that have started to
scare me since I found out we are expecting multiples. Our RE was quite confident that our babies will do well and said that our chances of losing either one
of them is very slim. But every baby book I have read has said, do not announce your twin pregnancy until 12 weeks because vanishing twin syndrome occurs in
30-50% of multiple gestations. How can this be right? I can think of all the twin (or more) pregnancies I have seen on this board in the two+ years I have been
here, but have never heard of anyone experiencing it? I can't stop worrying that something will go wrong. I am so worried. I felt great last week when we
saw the babies and heard their heartbeats, but I don't (and haven't) feel pregnant at all. I haven't had anything bad bleeding or cramping,
it's just that I don't feel much going on. Is...

Here is my situation, I had DD vaginally with no drugs and had no stitches and a very fast labor with no real complications. Now that we are having twins my Dr
is giving me the choice of how I would like to do it, Evan is head down and Elyse is transverse on top, he says that he feels better going with a c/s with
twins just for the sake of the unexpected. I am leaning towards a c/s because I am so scared of their well being but have the question in the back of my head
if I should try it vaginally for a faster and easier recovery. So, how did you all deliver and what are your thoughts on this?
