hi girls i haven't posted an update in a while. dakota is 17 months old now but we have been having alot of problems with him. he is now a failure to thrive baby, we have been having issues with him growing and gaining weight. he stopped growing when he was 9 months old. not sure why yet but he got alot of blood genetic testing done. so come to find out he has a few duplicated chromosomes and a deletion chromosome. so with that jason and i had to get our blood drawn to check our chromosomes to find out what's wrong with our son. he also got evaluated on everything and come to find out he is very developmentally delayed he is now at a 7 month old level. he is getting a lot of therapy for his needs once a week. overall he is a very active happy baby boy and we love him to death.

Went pretty well. Is is on target with everything but speech where he is a little delayed. Dr. said they like to see 1-3 words by twelves months and Nate
doesn't really say anything yet. It's so weird because around 8-9 months he used to mimic you like he was trying to say stuff, like he said mama and
he'd try to say Hi (it came out haaa but it would be right after you said hi to him). And now he doesn't do that anymore. He says mamama and dadadad
but not to us or anything. The only thing he says is no no no, which comes out nah nah nah, and shakes his head no. I'm wondering if it's his hearing
because he use dot get a lot of ear infections back to back and I've heard that can cause hearing problems sometimes if the fluid doesn't fully drain.
Anyway, I'm not worried or anything yet but at 15 months if he doesnt have 1-3 word they will do early intervention just to evaluate him and they do a
hearing check then too.
He is 22.75...

... that Elodie peed and pooped in the potty yesterday evening?

I know, she is just 10 months old and WAY to young for potty training, but I thought I'd sit her on it and see what would happen.

Why? Because for the past 2 weeks, she has been able to pee on command! It started a couple of weeks ago when I was changing her diaper in the evening. She
started peeing as I had removed the diaper from under her, and my reaction startled her and made her stop. I quickly put something under her, and said
something like "ok, now you can push"... and she did! I tried it a few more times the following nights, and it worked, so for the past two weeks it
has been a habit to ask her to pee when the diaper is open and ready to be changed.

I think the concept of pushing was acquired through months of struggling to poop. Oftentimes Elodie will push and push for a while and still not get...

Hi guys! I am so happy to report that Audrey is finally starting to pull up to standing on her own! She did it twice yesterday without my help. And she
climbed the stairs (with a little help from me). She's made so much progress in the last 6 weeks or so, it is very encouraging. What's funny to me is
that we had her in physical therapy until she hit 12 months old (first for torticullus, then for low muscle tone/hypotonia) and the therapist couldn't get
her to do ANYTHING, and now that's she is out of therapy, she is doing it all on her own! Anyways... I'm excited about it and I would not be surprised
to see her cruising around and walking in the next few months, which is earlier than we thought! Yay!
