In any case, it sure is not fun at all!! Started about a week ago with some minor itching on my belly, then came red spots all over. Over the weekend, the spots spread to my forearms, and this morning I had some on my upper thighs too. As for the itching, it's been growing increasingly worse to the point where I now itch 24/7 and it wakes me and keeps me up at night. I am miserable, my belly is a giant rash and I am going totally insane trying to resist the urge of scratching. Of course sometimes I gave in because it become so unbearable, and then all hell breaks lose because the spots become all bumpy and start bleeding, and the itch gets worse.

It's a BOY!   

Everything seems okay, for the most part.  They're going to do another ultrasound at my 24 wk appointment to check on his kidneys.  The doctor said that they are slightly dilated, which he said is fairly common in boys..  He's not concerned at the moment, but he will be if it progresses.  He did say that in very rare instances babies need to see a urologist at birth.  He emphasized that he is not concerned right now.  If he's not, I won't be, either.  We'll just pray that everything is okay in 4 weeks.  Of course, that does mean that we get to see him again, too.
