Any of your little ones not fully potty trained? Lucy will go when I ask her but not always and she goes at school.. pee only, no poop on the potty.. she is
pretty dry in the morning but when will she be fully trained? She will be 3 in July.. I ask her if she wants to wear her pull ups or her panties and she says,
no, I want to wear a diaper.

Lucas has been pretty much fully trained for a week or so now. He'll even go poop now. We still put him in diapers at night and naptime. Though he wakes up
dry. I'm not quite ready to take the undies at night plunge just yet. LOL

Andie--Abby was the same way. She would pee in the potty for months with no accidents but held the poop until she got a naptime or nighttime diaper. It took a
trip to the library to break her of that habit. She asked for a diaper and I told her we didn't have any and she just had to go in the library bathroom.
After a lot of sitting on the potty and crying, her body just took over and she HAD to go. After that point she seemed okay with pooping in the potty. I think
it was just a mental thing that she had to get over.

b/c he didnt go poo in a over a week.. i was hoping that by having the diaper on he would just go in it.. he eventually went after some prune juice and a week
and a day but it was not fun. since he had the diaper back on for a week, we feel like we have to force him to pee on the potty again.

Carrie, it sounds like she is just sick. Be patient with her right now and then get back on track when her fever is gone

I don't think there's anything wrong with diapers at night instead of pull-ups. We are just out of diapers and I don't want to buy more... I got a
ton of pullups last year on a killer sale so I am well-stocked with those. The nice thing for him using the pullups though is that I have a little potty in his
room so if he has to poop between me tucking him in and falling asleep, he will use that 90% of the time instead of the pullup.

Lucy has been doing so well and today, she peed herself twice- once while she was coloring at the kitchen table, the other time she ran into her room and
closed the door and when I went in there, she had peed on the floor. Then tonight she pooped in the bathtub, but night before last she was in the tub and said
she had to go and she got out and went. i just don't get it.. and then just now, she had night terrors..screaming, kicking and crying.. so scary. She also
had a slight fever today so maybe it is all related.

I don't really see a difference between diapers and pull ups Carrie. I think either is o.k. Autumn was 3 in Jan. and has actually been fully poop trained
since 18m and pee since 2 1/2 (yes, she did it backwards). We are now working on night training. She has done it several times but wakes up wet quite often.
I've started offering a small prize for waking up dry so she is really trying. My other daughter, Jordanne, is 5 and still wakes up in a soaked pull up
every morning so that is concerning me more than Autumn. She really tries-her body just isn't cooperating.

We are peeing in the potty about 80% of the time and pooping in the potty maybe once a week. I feel we are making progress. I can tell him when we get into the
van "don't pee in your pullup, wait till we get ___" and he will - today even he said "I need to put pee in potty" before we got to the
destination, so when we got there I did ask to use the potty and he did... I was so proud of him... later today he wet his pullup because he didn't want to
stop what he was doing (playing on the computer!)

I put Elmo's Potty Time in the DVD in the van again though, so hopefully it will encourage him to keep it up!

that licorice works for her treat. i have these little twizzlers in different colors and she gets to pick a color. We haven't had her in panties though. I
didn't try the 3 day thing yet as it says to have all of your attention focused on her and I have Casey. We are going to Palm Springs for 4 days next week
so I am thinking of letting her run around with no diaper and see how that goes. She has been doing much better. Toni, I like the movie idea for pooping.. have
to try that.

UPDATE now...
We are trying PT here again. He gets candy for peeing on the potty, a light pop on the butt for peeing in his underpants (this is because he was laughing about
peeing on the couch, I needed to up the ante to show him I was not kidding; I know it's no longer normal to swat a bottom during potty training but truly,
any disgust I show over his behvior he thinks is hilarious and he will repeat it just to see me react - except he does not like the swat too much), nothing
(positive or negative) for peeing in a diaper...if I put a diaper on, it's for traveling and nap/bed... so peeing/pooping in it is allowed. It probably
sounds confusing, but it is not - he knows the rules... today he stayed dry for an hour sitting in his high chair, I let him out and told him to run and pee in
the potty since he was dry. He went to the bathroom and got distracted playing with soap and toothpaste and peed in his underpants!!! Grrr. If I tell him not
to pee in the car (he...
