with the kids. Like now....I just have the 2 little ones at home but need to go grocery shopping tomorrow. I can't go with them by myself. I don't have any room for groceries. Wal Mart has the carts with the 2 seater in front but not ready to put Addie in that. lol I have to wait for DH to be home to keep at least one of them or have someone go with me to push a cart with one of the kids in it.

Lord help me. When this baby gets here I will have to hire someone to get my groceries... I AM JOKING. But if I could afford it I would! LOL

Edited to say that if Em is home and DH is at work, she goes and pushes one in a cart...but she is almost harder to shop with than the little ones. She wants everything and stand in peoples way!

I refuse to go by myself with the kids

dh has to go or I don't go. Now if it's just going to get a couple items I may leave the kids at home with him and go by myself or take a child or two but I refuse to go to most places by myself with all 4 they are royal pita to me when it's just me and them

I dont mind taking my two shopping with me on my own asdas have the shopping carts with either the two seats at the front or with one toddler seat and a baby seat with harness
I have no clue what i will do when number 3 comes along i will have to rope someone else in to come with me so that the baby and Jack go in one cart and stella goes in another Or i could do my shopping when stella is at nursery

Actually alot of the time i wait until dh is home from work leave the kids with him and i go shopping on my own

MIL called this morning to tell Liv Happy Birthday. I said that I HAD to go to the grocery store. She offered to go with me and take care of Liv......REALLY wanted her to stay here with them and let me go by myself and get it over with but I guess that will work. lol

She will do ANYTHING to keep from having to stay with them and watch them by herself for any amount of time! lol

I almost always have at least 1 with me...normally Aiden...I still put him in the front of the cart though...Taryn and Darrian are old enough to walk beside me and help me shop, so I really dont mind thaking them with me.

Just two but I almost always have dh or mom babysit so I can shop. A few times I have taken both kids with a helper, but since they are on opposite nap schedules, it's never a good idea to have both of them out

It is really hard and I think someone could get very rich having an "in shopping daycare" for grocery stores............you come in and they watch your kids while you shop, then you give them your "ticket" and they will meet you at your car and load your groceries while you load your kids...........

I have to do my grocery shopping during my lunch hour and then run stuff that is cold home............otherwise it really is a stressful process because Z sits in the front, Kilee sits in the back and I have no room for groceries.............my 11 year old sneaks things into the cart

My 11 year old can usually play with the toddler but after 30 minutes or so, the toddler wants mommy and the

Anyway, I try and get my list ready and shop at the same store each time so that I can shop as quickly as possible.............if I can get in and out in about 30 minutes then Im good...........if it takes longer then it is HARD!!!!!!!!

Reece! What a great idea for a daycare at the store! They seem to have everything else there (restaurants, pharmacy's, eye doctors etc) You should reall run with that idea! You could be rich!

When we first moved I tried to do the shopping by myself with the 3 kiddos, but it is miserable so I have to wait until dh is home to watch them or else go with to help with the kids. But it's much easier to go without them OR dh because he gets so much extra stuff we don't need!

We built her an Army!

I take all 4 with me... I know.. INSANE but DH gets off late during the weeks so I have no other choice... if I do it on the weekends I will only take 1 or 2 of them... My oldest son is a big help my 2 youngest boys don't bother at all... Kalani is a pain, she HATES to sit in the buggy to long...

I take them with me. I often go to a local grocery store that has these wonderful 'car' carts in which two children can sit in the 'car' section and a third child can still sit in the 'seat'. Delainey is in preschool now so I tend to go while she is there, but even once Brody gets here that cart will still work for him, Delainey will just have to walk...which she is really good at doing (it is a priviledge for her to 'get' to walk)....

If I waited until I had childcare or Chad could watch the kids we would starve...

Kroger here has the car carts, but Walmart just has those two seater things and the stupid belts are almost always screwed up. Liv is too much of a live wire to walk! Lord help me, I would strangle her before leaving if I let her walk! LOL

It's called Wegman's!!

:hmm maybe they don't have those everywhere. When we lived near Erie, PA our Wegman's had "daycare" it's called WKids Fun center and curb side grocery pick up. You dropped your kids off, they gave you a beeper (in case they needed you) and off you went to do your shopping. The when you were done all you did was go through the checkout line, go get in your car and pull up the side of the store and they loaded all your groceries in the car for you!!!

When I lived in the UK, I did my grocery shopping online. I was bliss! Now I tend to take the 2 youngest with me and go while the older 2 are at school. I don't take the older 2 because i end up spending twice as much

Your Kroger's don't have the Kidzone? I figured they all did. It right inside the door after you get your cart. Halfway between the entrance and exit. You drop the kids off while you shop and it's FREE! They have a playstation, dolls, art projects, all kinds of stuff for them to do. I don't think I have ever seen it empty. You guys are missing out, it's great.

My new thing is I allow aiden to walk if it is only me and him, and we are only getting a few things. If the other kids are with us or we are getting a lot of stuff, Aiden sits in the cart and gets to hold the shopping list. He thinks he is big!

Either when they are in school I will make a few trips a week.
They aren't too bad for me at the grocery store. As a matter of fact-I'll take them on the weekend sometimes just to get them out of the house. They like it there! Then we come home and make something together so it's like a little project.
