I have wondered the same thing..........Z gets caught up in his when I let him CIO so if Im doing a CIO I take out the blankets completely............but
otherwise I just use the comforter thing that came with his sheets and it doesnt get tangled very easily and also keeps him warm........

Jianna always has a blanket in her crib. It gets cold down here in the basement. She has never had it over her face. If I ever found her w/ it over her face I
wouldn't do it, but so far so good.

I don't give Isabella a blanket. I just make sure she is nice and warm with a onesie, thin pj's, and a blanket sleeper for very cold nights.

No blanket here-too scared to chance it. Brooks sleeps in long sleeved sleep sacks-the best thing ever invented!

I've had her Precious Moments quilt in the crib since day 1. I tucked it into the bottom of the mattress so it won't come out. It will never go up past
her waist and it's impossible for her to pull it up. But, then again, she sleeps in bed with us, so it's really not an issue at all for me. On those
"special" nights (lol) she does fine with it though.

He has always had a blanket covering him, and I've never had a problem with it.

Beth-I got them at Carter's last week. They are so awesome! I loved the sleep sacks from BRU for the summer but now that it's cooler, his arms get
cold. I saw the long sleeved ones at Carter's and was so excited.

They used blanket in the hospital (tucked like described in a previous post), but she just isn't a fan of blankets.

I know we aren't supposed to have blankets in the crib until baby is a year old, but I've done it with both my children. I have found it over my
daughter's head several times but I just move it away and so far it's been fine. (I never put heavy blankets in there, so I think she can breath with
it over her head?)
They (both the baby and my preschooler) usually end up kicking their blankets off during the night anyway, so it probably isn't worth the risk! But they just seem like they'd be cold without them! |

I use a cotton sleepsack right now, with Ariya wearing long sleeved sleeper or pj set. I have a fleece sleepsack for colder nights. She moves around so much
that I'm paranoid about the blanket being in there.
