Oldtimer Posts: 213 07/13/2007 12:29 AM New Member	Tags : None Pshhhh we have secret to share Remove this ad Last Friday I got The Call - Guatemala has approved Willow's adoption!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am just waiting for my Embassy appointment now, and then I will be flying down to Guatemala to bring my daughter home!!! If things go smoothly, I should be able to get her in 4-5 weeks! I can't believe it - I feel so blessed and lucky that I chose the agency I did and had the smooth process I have had to date. My heart has broken for other families who have hit terrible roadblocks - I can't begin to express how incredibly happy I am! ~Roni

I learned yesterday that Willow's birth mother signed off on July 9 for the fourth and final time - it breaks my heart to think of how hard this process must have been for her. At the same time, I can't wait to go to Guatemala and bring my girl home!! Oh, Polly! I totally suck! I am actually in the process of selling my house and moving out of state - am actually up in Washington state now while my house is being made ready to go on the market. I want to take as much time as I can - i.e., beyond maternity leave - to stay home with Willow when she gets home, and I just can't afford to do that in the Bay Area. ~Roni
