I agree that 3 kids is way harder than 2 for me...........that 3rd one being so close to the middle child has been such a handful!! I have one in public school
with homework, soccer and horseback.........then I have a middle child that just started school at 4 and she is a real handful with that toddler attitude and
then I have an infant too who keeps me up half the night...........it is HARD having them different ages because you have all these places to be for the older
ones and you have to take the younger ones with you!!!

I only have two but I just wanted to respond to Keisha... I leave my two at home with DH or grandma when I shop. On a rare occasion I will take one of them
with, if it's a short trip.
PS Keisha... I got your

My 3 kiddos are all about 17 months apart in age. It is totally nutty and sometimes I question my own sanity. That's just normal. But on the positive
side of having them so close together...they are all close to the same stages at the same time. We can get the baby stuff all done together and move on to the
next phase (school, soccer, etc) together. There is rarely a time that we go out that someone doesn't make a comment to me like, "You've got your
hands full!" or something similar. It used to drive me crazy...especially on the tough days because I though, yeah, I sure do, why don't you help me
instead of gawking at me!!! But I just let it roll off my back now and think that maybe I am an inspiration to someone instead.

My older 2 are only 15 months apart. I never really thought at the time how am i going to do this...I jsut did. They always went everywhere with me. Now with
Aiden thrown in the mix, it is more difficult..he loves to try and cheer at cheer practice. I've always just done what needed to be done and not thought
twice about it with the kids.

When i think that my youngest two are only going to be around 17 months apart the 2 years 2 month gap between the older two seems quite big
I dont really think about the gap that much its just something you get on with i think if i had had a bigger gap to compare to it might seem hard Not that its not hard but im assuming that any age gap has its pros and cons Rachelxxxxxxxxxxxxxx |

I lock myself in the bathroom and cry! JK! lol I would like to but they would follow me and scream to get in. lol It is hard and I think that this little girl
will be coming and I only have 2 hands. EEEEKKKK! I usually have to take Liv shopping with me unless I sneak out when DH is here. BUT Addie isn't going to
have that after too long.....the older she gets, she knows that I am leaving her. maybe she likes the alone time with all the toys though....lol
Em does help me out some....but she is at an age where sometimes she is harder than her sisters.....I think the little ones listen better than her sometimes! LOL |

The word NO comes easier and easier. I am immune to tantrums and I have an standard DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT SAYING ANYTHING TO ME look for helpful strangers
who want to offer advise when my babies are having fits in public. For the most part, they are really well behaved in public. They just drive me nuts at home!

Well to be honest, if I didn't take them things wouldn't get done. Chad works nights and therefor sleeps during the day and on the 'odd
occasion' that someone is sleeping at the 'right' time, the mom in me is too scared to leave them with Chad while he is sleeping because he sleeps
like the dead!
But you honestly you do what you have to do...Good luck |

I have just started taking them again. What I do is my 11 year old pushes a cart with the 3 yo in it, then I push Sophie and the other two walk beside me. I
make it a game for those two...."okay, I need the peanut butter Trent....look for one with A "J" on it".....or Jake, can you pick out a
jello you would like" or whatever....it goes fairly smoothly now....

I agree it is hard and there isnt enough room in the cart for all the kids and necessary stuff.............Im going to start doing the online grocery
shopping.........you go online, order your groceries, pay online and they get your groceries ready for you based on when you want to pick them up........you
drive up, tell them your name and they load your car and you leave!!! How easy is that!!!
My sis was telling me about it today and Im going to see if they have it in our area!!! NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One thing I find hard is attending Robby's soccer games and I have no choice but to take Kate. I'm the team Mom and my husband is the coach. Because of
that I can't watch and cheer Robby on as much as I'd like to and neither can DH because he's the coach so he has to cheer them all on. Not only
that-he can't help out w/ Kate because he's coaching. We really need a sitter but then it's early on Sat. morning and not even an hour long. Hardly
worth it. So I think next season he may not coach so we can be the parents only!
Gosh-it felt good to vent that trival problem! |

I have 2 pretty close and then a gap and then the other 2 close together. That causes problems because the little ones have to trail around taking the older
ones to and from school, after school clubs etc. There are def. pros and cons to all age gaps

I take all 3 of mine shopping all the time and some days it's enough to drive me insane. Jordanne is almost 5, Autumn just turned 3 and Noah is 8 months.
Dh wanted them close in age so we could get the baby stage over and done with-though personally I love the baby stage.
