Oldtimer Posts: 50025 12/04/2007 5:55 PM	Sharon I don't count but my Sienna can seat 7, two car seats on the second row, two on the back row (probably three but they'd be snug) and the Sienna also comes in another version that has 8 passenger seating... with 3 car seats available in the second row. .........................................

Oldtimer Posts: 1674 12/05/2007 2:08 PM	I have a mini van. Our second row seats two and the back row seats 3. right now we have 2 kids in the back and 2 kids in the middle. BUT we only have 2 carseats so it's a bit different Happiness!

We have a Dodge Grand Caravan and everyone fits, but 2 of mine are not in car seats so in the 3rd row we put Jocelyn in the car seat in the middle with the older boys on each side, then Jesse is in a middle bucket seat facing backwards and the other bucket seat is folded down into the floor. that way we can walk around and buckle them all easier (the oldest buckles himself but my 7 yr old still needs help and then obviously Jocelyn needs help too. with 3 infant seats and a toddler seat you'd have to do 2 in the middle and 2 in the back - I would think you'd want the kind where the middle bucket seats can slide together so you have room to walk by instead of room just between them, kwim?

Oldtimer Posts: 3901 12/08/2007 9:12 AM I Quit!!	We have a Kia Sedona that is currently holding 2 decent sized booster seats, a car seat and an infant car seat. The seats move back and forth to make room for the seats in the back....think front seat with a long legged passenger in the back and you have to move the seat up for them....that's how they are. Guess I will have the 11 year old and the 3 year old in the very back. The baby and Addie will be in the middle. That will suck, when I have to go somewhere and Em isn't with me to help with Liv in the back. Not looking forward to that! I wish I was rich so I could buy a new T & C mini van with the swivel seats. Ahhhhh.... DH's truck is a 4 door but will not be able to hold all the kids, so if we have them all with is we can't use it.

I love it.. they have so much room and IF #5 happens to come there will be still room for him/her nicely... though right now there is some HORRIBLE deathly smell coming from it and I can't seem to "find" the culprit... I think its rotten milk bottle but I just can't find it!!! UGH! Will be scrubbing away this weekend!!

Newbie < 100 Posts BTDT Posts: 19 12/15/2007 6:08 PM	When we found out we were expecting #2, 3, and 4 we bought a Chrysler Town & Country. When the babies were in the infant seats, we had them all three across the back seat (2 Graco Snugrides and 1 Eddie Bauer). We had Leo in the captain seat behind the passenger, and we completely removed the captain seat behind the driver so we could easily walk in and access the babies/put them in/take them out/etc. This was a great setup and was really easy to load/unload the kids, though it left no room for additional passengers. Now that all 4 are in the second stage seats, we have two in the back row and two in the captain's chairs. We have 4 Costco Touriva's and they just wouldn't fit 3 across the back row. This configuration sort of stinks, and it was especially bad when the girls were still rear facing in the 2nd stage seats. Like someone else said, if you can get the kind of van where the middle row of seats has the walkway on the side instead of the middle, I think it would be better. Good luck! I noticed it only has the latch things in one spot in the back row, and then latches in the two captain 'fold and stow' seats in the middle row. That stinks because you don't get the ability to fold the middle row then. I prefer the latch things because I know the seats will be good and tight. Just FYI I tried to put three in the back seat of my Sienna. I had two Britax and a Costco. The Costco is too big to fit between the two Britax, either front-ways or in reverse (I am babysitting a 9 month old, so just tried it out for the heck of it) I could have probably fit a snugride between the two Britax, and possibly three snugrides all in the back.
