We have an incredibly full house! But every since that girl offered me her baby, I have been getting twinges of baby lust. I am 40 years old and there is
little chance of convincing DW to have another. I know that the donor for Noah and Nya is no longer active so there is little chance of her agreeing to someone
else. But every once in a while ... I so miss being pregnant and knowing there is another little life coming into ours. I want another daughter so that Nya
knows having a sister. Guess it doesn't hurt to dream...

I used to feel that way too..........it was hard to realize that Z was our last baby. Now that time has passed and I have had a chance to try and retrain my
thoughts, I am finally glad we are done. I am looking so forward to raising these babies and giving them all of my attention. Something about ttc held me back
from being able to give the others "my all" because I was either pregnant or postpartum or there was a baby to be quiet around, etc. Now that my
youngest is walking and they are growing up I feel there are no more hurdles for us to move forward together as a family now 110%..........I know that sounds
weird but I was hoping it might help you too?? Sorry to ramble.

I actually do understand what you are saying and it does help. I also pretty much know that this is just a passing feeling probably connected to ovulation. I
am so in love with my kids it isn't even funny so watching them and being with them is really wonderful.

I am not sure I will ever get over that feeling. I keep thinking that we might have one more shot though. Just hoping it happens because I want to be done by
the time I am 40 which is getting really close

Having a baby really brings up some stuff doesn't it?! I hope Kaycee gets a sib; that was why Noah and Nya are so close together. Alex grew up an only and
we just didn't want that again.

Jaden and Carter are 5 1/2 years apart, I did that on purpose. I wanted to finish RN school first. Some days I regret that. I keep thinking about when Jaden is
20 and Carter will be 15 and if we have another even younger! AHHHH WHAT was I thinking?
Now for #3...hmmm.... still not sure on it. Some days I am absolutely sure I want another one, like you say a playmate for Carter, since him and Jaden are so far apart. But then other days, I am absolutely sure I don't want anymore. So many decisions....but right now Carter is only 12 weeks old, I am going to enjoy it and being able to stay home. I am not going to even worry about another right now. I will cross that bridge when it gets here. But I know for SURE that I will be done at 3. |

They are both beautiful! and my two boys are 14 1/2 years apart. I was explaining to Alex as I took him to college that he should be taking notes so that he
can settle his brother in when his time comes!
