Jaden and Carter are 5 1/2 years apart, I did that on purpose. I wanted to finish RN school first. Some days I regret that. I keep thinking about when Jaden is 20 and Carter will be 15 and if we have another even younger! AHHHH WHAT was I thinking? It would be nice for them to be close and out of the house at relatively close time range. But O well, I followed my heart in that decision and it must be for a reason right?

Now for #3...hmmm.... still not sure on it.

Some days I am absolutely sure I want another one, like you say a playmate for Carter, since him and Jaden are so far apart. But then other days, I am absolutely sure I don't want anymore. Mostly, because it seems like I have to rearrange my life during pregnancy. Jobs are not really understanding, esp when you have problems in your pregnancy like I have had with BOTH. And we own our own business, so insurance was through me through my jobs. BUT now that I am staying at home for awhile, we have to get different insurance and it doesn't cover maternity because it's a individual policy. I could go back to work and get insurance when I am ready for another one, but then what? Will I want to stay home with that baby for awhile too and have to quit ANOTHER job. That doesn't sound appeasing at all. We could get a group insurance for our business, but he would have to "hire" me as his employee and pay me, showing proof of pay and taxes taken out. And not to mention group insurance is VERY EXPENSIVE!

So many decisions....but right now Carter is only 12 weeks old, I am going to enjoy it and being able to stay home. I am not going to even worry about another right now. I will cross that bridge when it gets here. But I know for SURE that I will be done at 3.
