I've taken up running. (i'm doing a really great program called couch to 5K http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml )
and I'm on week 4, and my shins/calves are hurting SOOO badly after I run..to the point where it's painful to walk. I know to stretch and I've been really religeous about it. I ice them as soon as I'm done, and I take a motrin if it gets really bad. Any other suggestions? I'd like to keep up with this program, it feels so good to be in better shape, but I don't want to get sidelined by an injury!!
