I have a quick question - how do the doctors determine which twin is Baby A and which is Baby B? And will Baby A be born first?
Thanks, Amy |

A was closest to the cervix in my case and yes, A is born first.

Usually. Baby a,b,c etc are determined by the lowest presenting baby/sac in the beginning of the pregnancy. ironically toward the end, b can be lower than a.
my baby b was hte highest the last few weeks of my triplet pregnacny. but as the babies are born, they will call the first baby, baby a, even if it was not the
"original" baby a kwim? Our fear because we have all girls is that they would be born in a differnt order than how we had known them to be. We had
named them according to postition and letter. Our dr was made aware of our concren and thankfully htey all cam out in the proper order and we know based on
size and such.

The babies are labeled per who is closest to your cervix while pregnant...but upon delivery it is which ever baby came out first...Good luck

When I had my Csec I made sure to tell the Dr that baby A was on my left and I needed to know when she was born because we had names already. But my girls were
born in order.
