I was just typing my work and one of the patient's names was Malia. The doctor pronounced it "Ma-LEE-ah." I had never heard of this one before but thought it was kind of nice. I was thinking some people might pronounce it "MAHL-ya" too, looking at the spelling (maybe it could be spelled Malya if one wanted it to be pronounced that way?). Has anyone else heard of this name and how was it pronouced? And what do you think of it?

I don't think I would be able to change my family's minds about Cassidy at this point, and I'm just tossing this one around in my own mind, but I'm curious as to what you all think of it too!

I like some different names.
