Oldtimer Posts: 5361 11/10/2008 6:01 PM	This was my weekend to work so I'm exhausted. I just took a 3.5hr nap with the kids! Can't tell you how good that felt!!! Other than that nothing new is going on. Just our weekly routine of school and stuff. DD started a ballet class on Thursday and she loves it, it's pretty cute. Dh is still recovering from his 'procedure' but is doing much better. I'm rather bored honestly. No vacation here as I'm a sahm during the week. Thanksgiving is my holiday to work but after work we'll go to my sisters like we've done for years. Gab is off from school that week except for Monday so I'll have to look for stuff to get us out of the house!

Oldtimer Posts: 2234 11/10/2008 11:20 PM	Maci turns 2 on Thanksgiving so we'll be trying to make the day extra special for her. We are not having a party so I am bringing cake and favors to all of the dinners we need to attend. I am a SHAM so yeah no days off for me! Just try to make the best of everyday. Shayden is off the 28th for Thanksgiving vacation so is DH and we are gonna go to the Zoo and Children's Museum and have invited friends and family to join us for the special events being held between the two. I am also gonna hold Shayden out of gymnastics for 2 weeks (and feel bad about it) and start up again in December. OMG! December starts in just a few weeks! I am NOT ready! We are having a joint birthday party for Cole and Ella in the 6th of December so that will be a good amount of work considering we are inviting both their daycare classes (12 toddlers, 15 preschoolers). Trying to keep up...I'll get off Thursday and Friday for thanksgiving but I'm normally off Friday anyhow so not much of a vacation.

We don't have any plans for thanksgiving yet. Probably just go to my parents and have a quiet day. We only get Thursday off so it will be back to work the next day. My mom has her thanksgiving the sat. before and we usually go to FIL for dinner but MIL has stage 4 cancer so she won't even allow a visit from us so we may just stay home. possibly cook something and invite my parents Me 37 DH 40

DH's brother lives about an hour away, but they just had a baby, so I don't know if we'll be invited or not. And if we invited them, they'd never make the drive and come. So . Other than that we're just getting ready for this baby to come. Five weeks to go! I have a c-sec scheduled for Dec 20th and I'm trying to get all of the Christmas shopping done by the end of the month so I don't have anything to do in December at all. I'm done with the kids, just need to do a few random relatives and that's it!
