Remove this ad Eric throws his clothes in the middle of the floor.. all the time... I ask him to get them.. he will say, o.k I will.. They sit there.. I get pissed and then he'll get them... So he did the same thing, this week and I asked him again and again, he doesnt do it. I dont know whats clean or dirty..So I end up re-washing clothes... So i told him Im not washing his clothes anymore until he can keep them seperated and out of the floor. AUGH!! I dont mind cleaning but im not a freaking maid. I am not going to pick up after a grown man.... Screw that!

He does put his dirty clothes in a pile and so does Kylie, but neither of them will take them downstairs to the laundry room or bring their folded clothes back up (well, Kylie is better at that). I get so tired of going up and down those stairs! And I won't even get in to Austen.... he shoes and socks are strung across the house. I can never find both

Oldtimer Posts: 3697 12/07/2008 6:22 PM	Momma....I feel ya. DH used to be like that when we first got married. If it did not make it into the hamper then it did not get washed. One day he had no socks or underwear. He said.....it was next to the hamper, my response was I told you if its not in the hamper it does not get washed....i have not seen clothes on the floor in years! Now that we have Hailey he does the wash so I dont have to have that fight anymore. Hailey LOVES to put her clothes in the hamper....clean or dirty!! You got to put your foot down, I hope he stops doing putting them on the floor. Its very aggravating! Lisa....I hope your family gets better too!!! His clothes are in the basket piled to the ceiling with clean and dirty clothes in there.. He will give in. He doesnt even know how to wash... His momma spoiled him something terrible...

Remove this ad My Dh's thing is piling his clean close on top of the dresser....thankfully its in the closet! I refuse to touch it and put away his close!! When he cannot find anything he eventually cleans it off! See......some Mamma's just do wrong when they spoil their boys like that. I cannot believe he does not know how to do wash. We have a friend who does not do wash either....annoys me to no end when he bitches that he has no clean clothes and his wife is working (she is a kindergarten teacher) and taking care of their kid!! Oldtimer Posts: 4796 12/27/2008 11:03 AM Chase and Logan are here!	Now im on the other end of this!!!! My dh is such a NEAT FREAK its hard to live with him some days. Like right now he is taking the girls stuff down to be washed (since I had surgery and cant lift anything over 10lbs) but he is also picking up things in there room and just yelled in to tell me he is putting their winter hats in the top of the closet. WHY? they should go on the coat rack. Well they have to much on there and it looks messy. Ill never find them damn hats when I need them. As for the top of the dresser thats me!!!! I have 3 half draws and a closet in the girls room. DH has a 5 drew dresser and a closet our our room. Now ds on the other hand I think we wash his thing 3 times before he even wares it. He lives off the floor and out of the hamper. I dont put his stuff away. I fold it and give him the hamper. When he gets it all in hamper by the way he would need to out it away...Shirt underwear sock...ect not that hard. Chase Autumn & Logan Michelle 9/06/07

Oldtimer Posts: 50024 12/29/2008 6:21 PM	I don't mind the clothes in a dirty pile on the floor as long as it's not the middle of the floor or all over the house. The part of dh's laundry habits that irk me is when he leaves his gym bag in the middle of the floor and I have to ask him to bring the dirty clothes to the laundry, or I get them myself... which is gross, because they are sweaty-wet. It's a small thing but I feel heat coming from my ears when I see that full gym bag in the middle of the foyer at 9pm. I am always washing clothes so the piles everywhere are folded... most of the kids are put away at any one time, and dh's... it is my clothes that I let pile up because I am always worried about putting theirs away Since I hang the kids' clothes up mostly, I do so by "outfits" so that is why I am good about putting theirs away.It is probably the one thing I am anal about (making sure their clothes are paired up on the hangers) .........................................
