Last year my Dr told me I really needed to start losing weight. I've never had a Dr tell me that before. That very week I joined a gym. I am setting
25lb goals for myself and have now lost 28lbs. I'm doing it all by myself, just watching what I am eating and exercising. No special diets! I'm
pretty proud of myself.
My ultimate goal is to lose 100-110lbs. |

Well unfortunately in February/March I got off track! I had foot surgery and med reactions which took me off my feet for almost 2 weeks. With in days of being
back on my feet my grandmother had a massive stroke and spent 18 days in a coma before passing. We spent almost a month out of state to be with her, eating 1-2
meals a day at the hospital or restaurants.
After over a month of being off my routine I had a very hard time getting back into it and gained 10 lbs. Slowly I am getting back into the swing of things. On 5/18 I started being very cautious of what I am eating, I'm on a high protein, low carb, low fat diet and am getting in half to an hour and a half of exercise everyday. Today (5/28) I am down 12 lbs! I am so happy to have that 10 lbs off again! So yeah, nearly 3 months later, I am only 2 lbs lighter, but I'm NOT giving up! I had a small set back and will loose close to 80 more lbs! |

I'm down 4 more lbs! Tomorrow I start a '2-4 week break'. I am still watching all of my intakes, just not as strictly, except my calories which I
will be trying to hit 2000-2500. Then I will go back to 1200 calories per day for 7 days then 1500 for 3 weeks. I am hoping to have the same type of success
the next go round.
