I'm a newbie and happy to be here with ya'll!Am a 36-1/2 Year old single Woman whose trying to conceive with a Gentlemen Friend.I was on Day 3-4 of my Period our first intimate encounter,May 30.Was due to Ovulate June 9,which was 2 and 3 Day's (a late Night and early Morning fun time June 6 and 7th :*) ) after our second intimate encounter. My Cycles are 28 Day's and 5 Day's per Month, yet can't always predict when I will Ovulate.I began using the First Response Easy Ovulation 7 Day Test June 8,but never reached my LH Surge. One of the Tests was faulty/defective,so called the Company to let them know. They sent a Coupon for a free Product and told me I should have began Testing June 6 (after another Representative told me June 8!).When I received the Coupon,I got the first Response Fertility Test for Women which Tests for FSH and is used during the 3rd Day of Bleeding.I started my Period June 23,but am wondering if I may be Pregnant though 2 off-brand Pregnancy Tests gave me negative results.A Week ago,I began having an insatiable appetite that I could literally eat the House down!I am sleepy too..so sleepy I can barely keep my Eyes open.I've missed TWO very important Appointments because of sleepiness.Something I find strange is: I woke at 2:30 AM June 9 Nauseated and Vomited 4 times.NEVER in my life has this happened.June 29,I had routine Lab Work and all checked fine.I've been talking with Female Friends who've been Pregnant. One got Pregnant 3 Months after Marrying and had 2 Periods after she was Pregnant.Another Friend got negative results with every Pregnancy Test she used. Finally found out at 3 Month's she was Pregnant. Her DIL was 3-5 Month's when she found out she was Pregnant with her second Baby. She continued having Periods.A RN Friend told me Home Pregnancy Tests can sometimes give false-positive results, and the best Test is Blood.I spoke with an RN at my County Health Department. She told me they wouldn't do a Pregnancy Test until 5 Weeks after a missed Period.I really didn't prefer using off-brand Tests, however,I couldn't afford to pay $15 + for a First Response or E.P.T.
Any thoughts to share?

I have
also heard of one or two people on the board never getting a positive HPT, only positive bloodwork.
