It's completely normal!!!! I bled for about 3 weeks with mine. I've never had a natural miscarriage - I just think that maybe since it wasn't an
early, early miscarriage (like 5-6 weeks pregnant), that there is more lining, etc... that needs to come out...

I would keep a close eye out for prolonged bleeding. When I had my d&c 2 years ago after I lost my daughter (I was 17 weeks) , I bled for a long time. Come
to find out a month later I delivered her (the doctor only got her legs). So just be careful and hopefully it will stop soon.

did you guys bleed constantly? i don't bleed constantly i only bleed in the afternoon and night. then around midnight to 1am i stop. in the early morning i
am bleed free so weird. i have also had a huge blood clot that i felt came out of me. i had a bad cramp at the time it came out. it's like it wants to stop
but the clot keeps coming out and makes me bleed more darker dry blood. when i say dry is i been having lots and lots of ewcm
mixed in with the blood so when i don't have the ewcm it's a dry blood. oh did you guys have alot of headaches after the d&c? Hunycomb: OMG!!!! i'm so sorry you had to go through that

I remember a headache but I think it was from crying. I passed clots consistently with the largest being my daughter and cramps which turned out to be
contractions. Part of the placenta was still attached to my wall making the bleeding and clotting worse. After my 2 nd d&c the clots stopped but I bled for
about 2-3 weeks after the last d&c.
I'm sorry you have to go through this.

thanks ladies
this is just so frustrating some days i still feel pregnant. shouldn't my hcg be out of my system by now? or do you have to wait until your done bleeding? i still feel nauseated, peeing alot with urine still bright yellow, also my whole body still feels hot like when i was pg. |

It will probably take a few more weeks for the hcg to diminish. I know this is hard but those symptoms will fade soon but not the heartache unfortunately.

I had the completely opposite experience with my second D&C. The first one I had after Ryan was born, like an hour after, I still bled for 3 weeks. The
second one after my miscarriage I only bled a few days, but it took 6 to 7 months to get my period back. HUGs to you. I still felt pregnant for a few months, I
was 14 weeks when my miscarriage happened.

I'm so sorry. This must be so difficult. I had a d&c after I had my first daughter because I retained some material in my uterus. I had an awful
headache, sore throat and backache for a few days but they told me it was from the breathing tube they inserted when I was under. I hope you feel better very
soon.
