Poochy Belly |

I'm not sure if it is from PG or from eating too many Christmas cookies, but my belly is all bloated and pooching out. I guess I am getting near what I
consider the "unattractive" part of PG, when you are too fat to look good in your normal clothes, but not big enough to look right in maternity
clothes. I was hoping it would hold off another few weeks because I'm not sharing the big news until Christmas, when I'll be 8 weeks along.

I don't feel like I am. My clothes were kindof big on me anyways because I had lost some weight but they aren't AS big now. I still look the same
though. That is something that is worrying me.

Do you think tht because it has been so many years between Alexis and this one tht I am not? I have stress going on in my personal ikfe tht is making me
worried tht something is going to happen. I really can't wait for my appointment tomorrow.

Unfortuntely, my regular clothes were on the tight side already. I still had 5 pounds of baby weight from the last time to lose! And the holiday season
isn't helping me much. I still hope to stay in my regular clothes for another month, though.
I'm sort of looking forward to breaking out the maternity clothes, because I have more Maternity clothes than regular ones, and they are cuter too! I guess that's because I've spent half of the last 5.5 years pregnant. I just hope they still fit me this time around! Boo on Christmas cookies!! Bah humbug.

Kerry - I just noticed that the baby on your ticker just moved up a notch. Cool.
It could be that you have just lost weight recently (which is great to do before PG!) and it just seems like you haven't gained much yet. I hope your appointment goes well tomorrow, though! If you get an ultrasound picture, I hope you can post it! Erin |

Well, it has happened. I look fat. God how I hate this stage! Hopefully my mother is going to give me some gift certificates so I can buy some maternity
clothes!

The in-between stage is the worst!!
I can still wear my clothes, but my tighter shirts have got to go. Just not so flattering. At this point, I am more worried that my butt won't fit into my jeans, and not so much my tummy! Too bad we can't go on a diet for New Years!

Ughhh... Yes, I feel poochy too. I can get away w/ it at work since I wear scrubs. But my regular clothes... Well, not so good. I got out my maternity clothes from before and they just dont fit right. I'm starting out bigger and the shirts are already too tight across the chest. I have a friend that had a baby in Oct and she said she would pass all of her things my direction. I'm excited because she had some CUTE things. If all else fails... I'll just live in scrubs the next 7 months! =) |
