When she was first born I would trick her and do the foot ball hold on my left side to mimick my right. She now knows the difference and doesnt eat on my left side during the day. AT NIGHT SHE WILL ( i GUESS SHE IS TOO tired to be picky, lol) Everything I have read seems to be ok with this unless she had a birth injury (which she didnt). Just curious to see if this has happened to anyone else. My other 3 kids preferred the right side but never rejected the left. DIAPERS.COM $10 off code: NADYA25

Oldtimer Posts: 2343 05/01/2010 3:58 PM	In the beginning I would only feed from one side at a time (because of overactive letdown), and Anna used to prefer the left side (my right side was a lot worse with the overactive letdown) but she never rejected either side. Now if she's really hungry (or just really wants to nurse) she'll pull my bra on the right side (I guess she knows it'll get her the milk faster! LOL). Maybe she knows one side is faster flowing, and just wants that side? (like Anna does)

Beth that is what I thought, but here we are 4months later and she is still rejecting left booby. I still offer, but each time it isnt successful.
