Oldtimer Posts: 6808 05/07/2010 6:06 PM Mom to Jordanne and Autumn!	Well, I don't have any plans yet. Not sure if we'll make brunch for my mom this or not. Dh actually took my kids shopping for a gift this year. In the past I have not even been given a gift because dh said the kids were too young to shop and he is not my mother so he is not getting me anything. I kind of pouted and I guess he got the hint this year. I said, it's not that I actually need a gift, it's that I'm not being acknowledged for the only job I have been doing for the past 6 years and when everyone talks about the things they did/got, I have nothing to say. He took me shopping and out to dinner in chicago....he will give me a card/godiva and maybe flowers on sunday we celebrated early cause I work sunday and so does he. i got cards for my mom/grandma and will get grandma a plant and not sure about mom. I'm also am getting a washer/dryer I just have to decide what I want this way i can do laundry on the main level and not have to go to the basement. After he took me shopping he said "so I don't have to get you flowers now right?" I was like ugh, of course I want flowers I never got them because we had cats.
