On Thursday morning I woke up at around 3:30 am to contractions and my water breaking. IT wasn't a huge gush. Just a little. The contractions weren't bad and were coming every 15 minutes. I tried to rest in between. AT around 5:30 they started getting closer. I called my BF and she told me to wait to call my docs. I told her that I didn't know what to do because they didn't seem that bad. I decided to call my doula and she said to call my doc. The doctor told me to start heading to the hospital. My doula, and mark both showed up around 7:00 am and the contractions were right on top of eachother. We got to the hospital and they were trying to ask me my admitting questions and I just said "Can't answer. Need to push now." LOL So they bring me in the room and I was fully dialted and her head was right there. That was about 7:20 am. All I wanted to do was push and they kept making me wait till the doc got there. She showed up and I pushed 4 times. Mia was born at 7:43 am weighing 6 pounds 3 ounces and 18 3/4 inches. All natural delivery. Yay!
She is doing great. She was tongue tied a little so the snipped it and breast feeding has been better. I am still having some difficulties with one boob but am working on it. Alexis is happy and for the most part has been really great. She just wants to hold Mia all of the time.
