Mia gained 12 ounces since last Monday! She now weighs 6 pounds 7 ounces. So, breastfeeding is going great! The doctor was very pleased with everything about her and says she looks great! They had me waking her every 3 hours at night to feed so that she was gaining but she said to go ahead and let her sleep and let her wake when she was ready!! Yay!

Hi Kerry,
We had the baby at the dr today to get his pee pee foreskin removed and he weighed 7 lbs 2.5 ozs so we are doing especially since I have not been exclusively breastfeeding. I am having a hard time with that, I'll probably have to get some pointers from you on how/what to do to make it a better experience for me and DJ. So far what I have been doing is pumping a little and giving it to him via bottle. I am happy to see that Mia is gaining, how is everything now, it's been a little over a week since your post above. Everything is good. She is pretty much on schedule when it comes to eating and waking at night. BF is going great too! It gets easier as every day goes by. I am enjoying it for the most part. Once in awhile there is the selfish part of me that wants to drink coffee all day but I know that my little girl deserves some sacrifices from me.
 I love that she is starting to be awake more often too. I can't believe that she will be a month old next week. Time is flying and before I know it I will have to go back to work!How are you and DJ doing? BF getting any better?

Hi Kerry,
Not really on the BFing but I am so grateful for him that I don't even worry about that. He has been gaining, last doctor appointment he was 7lbs 6ozs so we'll see how much he is on Monday at his 1 month appointment. How is Mia doing now? Nights are ok. Depends on the day. Sometimes she only gets up at 3 and then 6. Sometimes she is up every 2 1/2 hours. She is always up for an hour each time. I have been catching up on old law and orders or the show numbers on TNT. LOL
She is great otherwise. BFing is going great.

That really shows we have a lot in common, my TV is set to TNT at night too. When Angel comes on though I switch to USA because they usually have Law and Order SVU on in the mornings at that time or like an NCIS marathon.

I need to watch those! LOL. I switch to USA too. Or Bravo has Law And Order Criminal intent on some nights. I forgot that during the week it is Cold Case. Thank god for TNT because other than disney everythign is infomercials at that time! IF I have to watch about the shark one more time I am going to scream!
