MY SW CALLED A BABY BOY WAS JUST BORN OCTOBER 29, 2010 ...............15 MINUTES FROM OUR HOME! & THE parents signed the papers they WILL PICK an Adoptive couple sooooooo far there is only 1 other couple!!!!! interested! If we are chosen.......... which we should hear more word today...... we GO TO THE HOSPITAL 15 MINUTES AWAY & CLAIM OUR SON!!!!!! that is after meeting the bmom & bdad ... I hope they like us. Heck I hope & pray this is it & they PICK us. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! Oldtimer Posts: 2681 11/11/2010 4:05 PM	Ok my sw'er. ........ talked to bmom's sw'er.... about us ....going over why we would be a good choice. & sw response was 'oh wow, oh wow.'.... 'she's a nurse, she worked on a cardiac floor?!'.... So the sw'er clearly thinks we are a good choice too......... but the bmom needs to think that & choose us. What will happen is my sw will call me tomorrow in the afternoon... ( as we are being presented to the bparents by the sw'er via our homestudy ) Then we will have to wait till monday for possibly a final decision. For me to be ok .....& not so broken hearted if we aren't chosen. ... : I know we'll find our baby.... but this seems so right on so many levels. They have the weekend to think about who they want to raise her son. We should hopefully have an answer on Monday! The sw reiterated the bmom wants a family w/ a medical background; (baby boy will have some medical needs beyond being premature) & one that is ok w/ pictures & letters. There is ONLY 1 other couple interested in this baby boy. dh & I; as well as sw'ers feel this may be the ideal situation. but the decision has to be the bmom to see that. _____________________________ Me 40 Dh 39 TTC Since 02 MC x4~12/03-7/04-2/07-2/09 ___________________________________ It's a Girl! Our SW said her impression Evidently is their is no urgency to forge ahead & they are not ready to make a decision.... they are getting closer & know they have to do this... But it is very difficult. My SW says there isn't much more she can do except she doesn't want to crowd them; that's not good, so we wait. If we haven't heard from them with a decision by later in the week. My sw will send an email. So we pray, hope, & wait. A decision will be made. But the sw explained it to me; They need more time to process & hold on; They know this is going to happen; ............. they need time the think; everything they say they want dh & I have...... so we wait for them to come to terms with that. It's either that or CYS steps in. I can wait till friday if we aren't chosen we continue on..... I just hate think of that little baby looking around for his family.
