What a surprising unexpected day. The sw called me about a child we
inquired about a month or so ago; we knew our HS went to the county now
they say we want to see you for an interview. Dh & I are think yeah
right we've been here before ( BACK IN OCT. ); we set a date this friday the 14TH we
traveled 6 hours there & back to to the middle of PA....
the meeting WAS at 3pm much to our surprise it seems like a formality; the other 2 Acouples dropped out indirectly the sw'ers dropped the ball not staying in touch.... which was fine we found out..... as the sw wanted US.
The interview was VERY informal-mainly informational; some questions then after an hour it was over .................. then they say how would you like to meet C?! ....OMG YES! we say.
then before we know what hit us; they are saying we are matched & we want you to be her parents- if you WANT.
We are speechless did this just happen~!!!!!!!!!
We got along great.. she acts like me & looks like dh; The next step is setting up a weekend stay over night.... I can't wait.
I asked the sw how excited should we be? Can this be taken away? Will this happen?
My sw'er said THIS WILL HAPPEN.

We are now Parents of C a beautiful 13 year old girl.
