They are right at 21 days and have always been right around 30-32 before my tubal. It really bites having periods so close together. Just wondered if it was common after a tubal or if it was because I was getting old

My cycles have always been long - average of 43 days back when I was doing the basal temps to track my cycles (and quite frankly, the only time I didn't like that was when ttc). I had my tubal when Anna was born, and af returned when she was 10 months old. Now, I never know when to expect af. I've had a few months where it seems like I just had af and she shows up again (anyone else would consider it a normal cycle, I'm sure!). Plus I'm getting some odd light brown discharge mid-cycle (I know, TMI - LOL). Let's top it off with af will be heavy for a day or two, then light, then gone a few days, then back with spotting for a day or two, etc.... I'm thinking that it was the tubal that made all the changes happen, and others that I talked to had similar things after a tubal.... must be our bodies readjusting....

It seems to come a week earlier each month It also seems to be heavier and last a couple of days longer... oh the joy

Oldtimer Posts: 50026 02/28/2011 11:09 PM	Well, I haven't had the surgery... but I think B6 lengthens luteal phase... try to add that and maybe you can lengthen that cycle back out. Are you still b/f?? I think prolactin and B6 work in opposition to each other... so if you DO add in B6, you will start to dry up.

After I had my 3rd baby my cycles went from clockwork 28 days to 21 days! Insane!!! I am now taking 100mg of B6 2-3DPO until day day 26. I usually start the day after I stop taking it. Im not sure why it works but it does! My friends doctor told her she needed a D&C to "reset" her system. She said it seemed to do the trick but she just had it done a couple months ago so I dont know for sure if it was a success yet? I have never heard of false unicorn. I will go google that to see what that is? I know that B vitamins get low as we start to age so it could definitely have something to do with that. And B vitamins are good for you so there are no real side effects. If 100mg doesnt work then you can do 150 or 200 mg but obviously you dont want to take more than you need to take. Good luck to you!

I am on and off about weaning. I have been nursing with no break for 3 1/2 yrs now But as much as I want to stop, it sort of makes me sad since this will be last one to nurse

Yep Kaycee nursed all through my pregnancy and then a few months after. She was horrible to wean... one of the hardest things we have went through Once my new milk came in after Mackie was born, she was in hog heaven I was hoping not to nurse Mackie as long because of how hard the weaning was last time. She is not near as attached as Kaycee but it sure makes bed time easier
