Oldtimer Posts: 1917 04/06/2011 9:35 AM	Don't stress! It can take an average couple up to 12 months to be successful. You only have a 20-25% chance of getting pregnant each cycle. That being said, you can increase your chances by using ovulator predictor kits, temping, and doing timed intercourse. Don't worry - one month isn't enough time to worry. It can definitely be a frustrating and sad journey but so worth it!

People are usually shocked when they find out how hard it is to get pregnant when you are trying!! Hang in there, it will happen! Just dont get too stressed over it because that can mess up your cycles to be too stressed. Just have lots of sex and dont overthink it and it will happen!!

As Squeakers pointed out though, even with everything perfectly normal with both partners, there is still only a 25% chance at the most of getting pregnant each month, because it takes more than just having sex to accomplish pregnancy. Try to pinpoint how long your cycles are and focus your love making sessions in the right window (approximately 14 days before the end of your cycle), and for everything else, just let nature do its thing.
